Yesterday was my sister's 17th birthday and I got her a nice new leather bound Bible. Her previous Bible was similar to those huge Psalty Bibles intended for kids in elementary school so I thought a newer, smaller, and a more "grown-up" looking Bible would be a good gift. I couldn't really find a nice dark toned Bible so I ended up getting her this pastel green & dark chocolate colored one. I must admit that the colors look a bit strange on a Bible, but in a way it looks nice as well. She ended up really liking it. :)
Last week on the 21st-24th I went to Vision Conference which is a large Christian conference run by KCCC. Every year we start off with a concert and this year they got Phil Wickham to perform! Immediately after the performance my friend, Grace, and I RAN out of the room and we were first in line to get an autograph and picture with him! It was so awesome except for the fact that he didn't look at the camera! D;
Overall the conference was amazing and I felt so blessed afterwards. I took my sister as well and she had a good time which was really a relief to me. She somehow ended up being placed into the same room as me so that was somewhat awkward but I think it ended up as being a good thing. I really really liked my soon group this year. Team 21!
I made a lot of new friends through the conference and I can't wait to attend again next year!

Freedom to Live
I think I did pretty well on all my finals, but I'm not going to put too much faith in that statement until I get my grades this Friday.
Although I finished all my finals last Thursday I'm not really on break because I still have work and I'm still in Irvine due to it. But I don't mind it much because I only work for 4 hours a day and then I get my apartment all to myself. And it's not only my apartment, it's nearly the entire apartment community so I feel so free! Yesterday I got some cleaning done, played FFX for 4 hours straight, watched TV, and then blasted Christmas music until I fell asleep. I absolutely love having this whole place to myself. haha.
With my roommates gone I decided to clean the place up. I spent over 2 hours mopping the floor, dusting all the furniture, cleaning the kitchen, and cleaning both the bathrooms. By the end my back was aching but I felt so accomplished. I really love cleaning.
It rained a lot yesterday. The rain's cleared up today but it's still freezing cold. But on the plus side, unlike at home where my frugal parents don't allow me to turn on the heater, I can turn on the heater in my apartment so I'm nice and warm despite the low temperatures.
The only downside to this amazing week is that I forgot my cell phone at home. Not having it really makes me feel empty and sad. :(

Fever
I caught a nasty fever last Friday and it really sucks. Finals are this week and it's so hard trying to keep myself awake when my body just wants rest.
